In the case of a PDF file, the maximum file size is 25 MB per a FAQ at the following link: https://www.uspto.gov/patents/apply/patent-center/faq#type-browse-faqs_209275. Based on the same FAQ, for a DOCX file the limit is 10 MB, and for ZIP and TXT files the limit is 50 MB.

Based on my experience, the size limit for at least PDF files has been 25 MB going back at least 3 years across both PC and EFS-Web.

I just uploaded and successfully filed in Patent Center a PDF file that was 25 MB.

Am I delusional or did the USPTO increase the size constraint from 19 MB?

Or for some reason are PCT cases allowed a greater file size upload and I never noticed…
