[Patentpractice] Patent Center change

Molly Kocialski, the long-time director of the Denver office just stepped down, but I have not heard the office is being shut down.  At least the first back to work order absolutely applied to the Denver office.  Was at an event with Molly shortly after it came down and she confirmed that she and other higher-level people were back in the office full time.

Hi, all,

I doubt many of you need to use it, but the PTO recently (start of the month) changed patent center to only practitioners or “independent inventors” can have permission to access it.  For patent litigators or a lot of other people, that’s not a good development. Anyone know why the change?

I also heard a rumor (maybe it is old news) that the Denver regional office employees were not part of a back-to-the-office order, and rumor is it is shutting down?
