Will ISA/KR search multiple dependent claims that depend from multiple dependent claims (multiple-multiple dependent claims)?
The ISA guidelines<https://www.wipo.int/pct/en/texts/ispe/9_41.html> say that multiple-multiple dependent claims are generally not allowed in PCT applications. However, if the national law of the ISA allows them, then they should be searched. Even if the national law does not allow them, they should be searched unless "a meaningful search is not possible."
The national law in KR does not allow multiple-multiple dependent claims. Based on this, I would think that ISA/KR will not search such claims. However, the website<https://www.mbip.com.au/why-might-an-au-applicant-consider-nominating-kr-isa/> of an Australian law firm says it is possible to include a letter at the time of filing the PCT application requesting ISA/KR to search all the claims and it will search the multiple-multiple dependent claims.
Is this true? Can I file a letter with the PCT application asking ISR/KR to search the multiple-multiple dependent claims and it will do it?
