[Patentcenter] Another BUG (of course)

Another Patent Center bug:

I noticed the following message on the PTO’s payment and filing acknowledgement receipts.

“The signer’s identity is invalid.”

Can they not even use valid signing certificates?!

BTW, this prompted me to review the signatures on a recent eGrant.  In that case it says: “Signed and all signatures are valid.”  Phew!

This shows, yet again, the PTO (and the coders for Patent Center) do not understand the legal implications of what they are doing (or not doing).
