[E-trademarks] idiotic office actions

I am so sick of the idiotic "indefinite" rejections, I don't event know
where to start. And, frankly, I don't have a good answer regarding what to
do with those. 

 

Is it an AI that does that part of an OA? Since these rejections have become
noticeably more idiotic, this is the explanation that comes to my mind.
Because even the most sophisticated algorithm can't process what something
means (no AI can), and the question of whether something is definite or not
arises from the meaning.

Adding to the list of idiotic office actions, now we need to teach EAs
grammar, especially PTO grammar regarding commas versus semicolons.

 

I filed several applications with the following specs:  Resort hotel,
all-inclusive hotel, hotel and motel accommodation services.

 

Now the PTO and the Nice classification system have become picky in the last
few years, and determined that "hotel services" could encompass services
outside Class 43, such as concierge services, etc. so you must specify that
they are hotel accommodation services. Fine.  We did that.  

 

But just got a refusal that says "resort hotel" services are indefinite, and
I need to amend the ID to "Resort hotel accommodation services,
all-inclusive hotel, hotel and motel accommodation services.."

 

Please explain to  me how "accommodation services" modifies all-inclusive
hotel, hotel and motel, but not resort hotel?
