I know nothing about the trademark company Haloo.  But I find it ironic (or, at least, interesting) to see that the company uses a .co domain name (the ccTLD for Colombia) – which, as the original email below (and the subject line of this conversation) proves, can be easily mistaken (or mistyped) for the .com version (which, also interestingly, appears to be registered by Microsoft as a typographical variation of its own <halo.com> domain name).  So, three domain names – <haloo.co>, <haloo.com> and <halo.com> – all easily confused with each other.

 

I’ve never understood why anyone (outside of Colombia) would choose the .co ccTLD for use as its primary domain name, especially when an established trademark owner is using the .com version.
