Jon was a great lawyer and a great person, his contributions to trademark law in particular are vast.  He always had time for a question and went out of his way to teach whenever he could.  He will be missed.

What terrible news about Jon - the Board was lucky to have his insights and participation for the few years he was on the bench.  I had the opportunity to run a program with him for many years and his passion and understanding of trademark matters was on another level.
