[E-trademarks] Trademark scams and attorney bar info

The thread on the PTO’s webinar on TM scams reminded me that although the PTO does not make attorney bar information available in TSDR, it is unfortunately quite easy to find that information out from the PTO if you have an account—you just need to find a registration due for a Section 8 filing, and go into TEAS as though you’re going to be taking over the application.  The previous attorney’s name, address, bar number, and the year they passed the bar will all be listed.
