I’ll give the worst of several –
We had a resubmission fall into the black hole in early February. After three months and multiple people in the Assignment Division promising to “escalate” our submission with no luck, we finally got to Maurice Carter four days before our SOU for a new client was due. Maurice was able to process our request overnight after we resent all the materials to him via fax. This was very helpful since we had an early May deadline. However, they have a process where they only send information once a week to update the database so we were unable to prepare the RPOA. More waiting and monitoring. On the day the SOU was due, the ownership was finally updated in their system so we could prepare and submit the RPOA. Since it was the day of the deadline, we had to then work with the good folks at teas at uspto.com<mailto:teas at uspto.com> to process it quickly so we could file the documents before midnight to keep the application alive.
Literally spent 10+ hours on this resubmission including calling and resending our documents multiple times to multiple Assignment Division reps, and then monitoring and following-up and following-up again. We were prepared to file a Petition to Revive if our RPOA wasn’t processed in time. Lots of wasted time and expense. We filed another resubmission in late February and received confirmation of filing in late April so we remain hopeful that this filing receipt means that it is not lost, but three months in to the wait - the jury is still out.
What a mess.

Subject: [E-trademarks] Let's try to collect all of our Assignment Center bugs
I imagine some may have read my blog article from yesterday entitled USPTO fails to let me know that it fixed a defect that I reported in Assignment Center<https://blog.oppedahl.com/uspto-fails-to-let-me-know-that-it-fixed-a-defect-that-i-reported-in-assignment-center/>.
I am not exactly sure whether yesterday's blog post had anything to do with it, but just now a phone call came in from a person who answers to Joyce R. Johnson, who is the manager of the Assignment Branch. He has offered to spend some time with me reviewing the various defects in Assignment Center.
This strikes me as a perfect time to try to collect in one place all of our Assignment Center bugs.
I guess maybe post them to this listserv, and I will try as best I can to collect them for the discussion with this fellow.
Oh and I guess the other thing is, it would be good to get at least one more person from the trademark community involved in the discussion, for a lot of reasons. Volunteers welcome.
Carl
