[E-trademarks] Approved for Publication now not showing expected TMOG date

I don't think that's unusual.  As I recall, it takes a while after approved for publication to scheduled when the trademark will be published for opposition. Additionally, approved for publication is just the decision by the examining attorney, but many other reviews may occur before the actual publication.

Once again, Trademark Search probably fails us.  If we could see the new status description in the SA - Status field, we could search that particular status (with other parameters such as UD - Update Date) and see how many do and do NOT have Published for Opposition entries.  That said, I guessed that the SA-Status field would include the terms approved and publication, performing the following two searches.

SA:(approved AND publication) AND UD:[20240925 TO 20241003]

Well, I don't know how effectively that first search identifies trademarks that recently were approved for publication, but the count of trademarks for the second search strongly suggests publication dates are NOT automatically assigned as soon as the trademark is approved for publication.

Received a non-PTO notice that an application of our client was 2 October Approved for Publication.
TSDR no longer (at least the next day) shows an expected publication date, at least I didn’t find it.
