[E-trademarks] Madrid question

Hello friends, Sorry If this should be on the Madrid list serve, which I’ve forgotten how to access.  We have a US application that has yet to be examined but we expect to be asked to tweak the id into  adding different classes. If we extend now under Madrid, will we be unable to add classes in the designated  countries once they are examined there? I expect Wipo will have a say about it too. I have been stuck between. The USPTO  and Wipo having different views on classification and that was not fun either.
