[E-trademarks] Referral Request

I have a client who created a “famous” brand (yes…you would know it), as well as other branded projects in the same space.  For the project that I handle, there is a large number of copyright registrations and TM Certificates of Registration.  There are no pending applications. This is not the “famous” brand.

Client needs to transfer all matters to new counsel, who would be responsible for monitoring and attending to TM maintenance.
Additionally (and very importantly), client soon may have the need for a business attorney that might be involved in a HIGH-LEVEL transaction that could include contact negotiations for the sale, license, co-branding, etc. of this IP.

Therefore, client seeks a representative with both: a) trademark prosecution experience for handling maintenance of existing registrations; and b) significant prior experience in business/contract negotiations involving IP as a primary basis of the contract. Representative should be reasonably priced, but capable of going up against giants representing a MAJOR corporation. It is believed that a small firm having different specialists could be appropriate.

Note: It is possible that this might only result in TM maintenance work, at least in the short term (next several years).

Please respond to me OFFLINE if you have a recommendation.  Please – only recommendations for practitioners/firms with the appropriate amount of business negotiation experience, which is significant.
