[E-trademarks] Copyright Symbol © Is More Common Than Expected

The search ON:( *©* ) AND LD:true AND RN:* returns 471 live registrations with the copyright symbol occurring in the ON - Owner Name field, somewhat more than I expected.  Below are the 30 highest registration numbers in decreasing registration number order with the OW text (as exported by Trademark Search) truncated to 40 characters.  (Yes, I wish Trademark Search allowed us to chose the data fields to be exported - that I would have exported the ON - Owner Name instead of the OW field for the listing below.)

The good news is that no 99-series trademarks occur for that initial search.  The search ON:( *©* ) AND LD:true AND SN:99* retrieves just 2 trademarks, namely 99205114 with Jaime-Arturo: Grijalva©™ as the owner name and 99025927 with THE FOREIGN NATIONAL TRUST©️ as the owner name on TSDR; that is, the most of the unusual © strings for the original registration search appear to be older applications and perhaps the newer Trademark Center applications may have reduced or eliminated the occurrences of the challenging © strings in the ON - Owner Name field.

For my first glance, I thought most of the unusual © strings were actually in the EN - Owner entity field that contains the owner entity type, except searches like EN:( *©* ) AND LD:true fail to retrieve any trademarks.  (I'll admit that I do not recall searching in the EN field prior to today.)

Well, who has time to check for systematic errors in the owner information, even if those errors eventually appear on registration certificates?
