Hundreds of US trademark registrations are on a path to cancellation.

See
https://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=6723159&caseType=US_REGISTRATION_NO&searchType=statusSearch
as one randomly selected example of many hundreds of such
registrations.  Nearly all of these registrations are for a mark with
6-9 characters (and no spaces) that cannot be easily pronounced, and are
from applicants in China.

Quoting from yesterday's order:

In the Order, the USPTO determined that it is appropriate to
exercise its inherent authority to reconsider the registration
decision for this registration. This determination was made after
the USPTO issued a Show Cause Order that provided the registrant and
the parties responsible for making improper submissions in the
registration an opportunity to submit a response. Upon consideration
of any responses received by the end of the response period, the
USPTO issued the Order Reconsidering Registration Decision, which
reconsidered and vacated its prior decision, and reopened the
underlying proceeding for a new determination. The reopened
proceeding may be subject to administrative sanctions, including the
    sanction of termination.
