[E-trademarks] Law firm/not law firm?

I can’t see how that isn’t the practice of law. It feels like sovereign citizen logic.

Your service exists only within a legal framework. You are preparing and submitting legal documents, and if you’re making office action responses you’re definitely handling legal arguments or making legal determinations. Therefore, you’re practicing law.

Every “filing” service hides behind the same nonsensical flim-flam arguments.

  1.  A pro se party can file their own documents; so
  2.  we are merely “helping” them prepare their documents; therefore
  3.  We aren’t providing legal services, only helping a pro-se exercise their own rights.

Always, always, ALWAYS, the “help” is advertised in the same way legal services are advertised: “come to us for our expertise to get a better outcome”. Then either the “help’ actually provided is nonexistent (merely a copy+paste job like this abhorrent application<https://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=98362031&caseSearchType=US_APPLICATION&caseType=DEFAULT&searchType=statusSearch>); OR the “help” is actually legal services.

No idea why the bar associations aren’t dealing with this nonsense.

The site also lists all her legal experience.

But at the bottom, there is this disclaimer: [NAME OF LLC] does not operate as a law firm.

If she is doing everything that I listed (and more), how can she say that she “does not operate as a law firm?”
