[E-trademarks] Law firm/not law firm?

Is it possible that the firm does other non-legal work and she is trying 
to (in-artfully) make sure that, as to that work, she is not considered 
to be "wearing her lawyer hat" and acting as a lawyer in connection with 
_that_ other work?
