[E-trademarks] Non-Registration Data "Mark" Citation

Does anyone know of any way to have a "non-registration" "mark" removed from the USPTO Register (e.g., if your client believes a non-registration data "mark" should not have been cited against its application and wants the obstacle removed from the Register).  In this case, the "non-registration" mark was recorded under Article 6ter of the Paris Convention.  Does anyone know if there is any way to contest or take other action?
