[Patentpractice] Clients with Customer Numbers

Hi All,

I just engaged with a small client who filed provisional patents directly
using their own customer number.

Given the number of applications, I was hoping I could just get added to
the customer number,

It appears that for client-generated customer numbers, there is no way to
add an attorney to the number. Is that accurate?  I couldn't find any
how-to specifically directed to customer numbers set up by
non-attorney/agent users. Any insight would be appreciated.
