I would like to hire somebody to do some PHP or Python coding. This
would probably make use of Curl.
The idea is to visit a number of web pages maybe once a day. Scrape the
contents of those pages (this is where Curl probably comes in). Extract
a couple of data items from the pages, and log the results of the scraping.
The logging is done, I imagine, in a MySQL database.
This process would run in a Linux environment, as a cron job I suppose.
A second PHP script is available for a user to visit as a web page. the
user can view graphs of the logged data items.
