[Patentpractice] INVENTOR NAME

It doesn't matter how it is signed, so long as the printed name by the signature matches what is on the ADS.  I always fill out the name on the declaration before I have the inventor sign it, to make sure it's right.  I started doing this after a declaration was rejected because "Stephen" filled out the name as "Steve".

Dear Group,

I have a chinese national filing an application.  The ADS lists his name correctly,  but he signed last name first and first name last which is their convention.  I am worried that when I file, the declaration will be rejected because the name is signed "backwards."  Do I need to ask the inventor to sign their name "our" way?
