[Patentpractice] New Patent Assignment Center Inoperable

I just had this problem as well, but on Safari. It's like they didn't test
the software very well before releasing it.

Ironically, the dropdown menu did work on Firefox (as we know, the browser
"nobody uses").

I cannot believe they didn't fix that idiocy with the "/" in the
application number. And if you try the number with a "/" in it, does the
error message say, "Oh, hey, you're not allowed to have a '/' in there"?
No. It says it cannot find the property.

Their own electronic acknowledgment receipts include the slash, but
apparently it's too much for the USPTO to allow a copy-paste of the number
from the EAR to the assignment system. Why help customers avoid errors?
What kind of patent office does that?!
