Not sure how you're using client-specific templates, so I can't speak to that. However, AppColl (and other docketing systems I think) will create a USPTO ADS form from the client information in your docketing system. One click, review, sign. Includes client, inventor, & assignee info (based on the client info in your docketing system, application info, and priority info. Essentially you template it by keeping your client info up to date in the docketing system. Does that answer the use case?

Subject: [Patentpractice] ADS Adobe alteratives with templates?

Feel free to refer me to an earlier post if this is a topic that has been discussed recently. I ran a quick search of the archives and did see anything.

We have used the USPTO fillable ADS form & Adobe Acrobat for years because we like the efficiently of being able to save client-specific ADS templates.

We have never liked working with Adobe Acrobat (we prefer PDF-Xchange) and would love to get rid of Adobe. Our distain for Acrobat increased last month when they nerfed its OCR capabilities.

Can anyone suggest an ADS solution that allows for the saving of templates without using Acrobat?
