[Patentpractice] Shout out to the office of petitions

I feel like I used up all my luck?  I thought had almost no hope of getting it approved in time without spending hours on the phone with the office of petitions.  Instead, it was easy and it appeared that I did not even need to place the one call I did.

Given how much we have all bitched about the backlog at the office of petitions I just wanted to give a shout out to the office.  We had to file a notice of withdrawal from issue on a design patent and a CPA.  It was supposed to issue tomorrow, we filed the petition over the weekend.  The web forms do not work for design patents, you have to make a form for it.  I was sure we would never get it granted in time, but they were already on the petition when I called them this morning and granted it this afternoon.
