You should budget around $60k plus attorney time to design and conduct a survey. Then there’s expert discovery and testimony costs.

I posted this last week and wanted to try one more time (post-INTA) to see if I might garner any additional feedback:

I am looking for a general range of cost(s) (guesstimates) which could be anticipated in conducting a survey to determine the distinctiveness of a trade dress for purposes of seeking Federal trademark registration.

If any of you have had recent favorable experiences using a firm to undertake a survey to determine the distinctiveness of a trade dress, I would appreciate sharing the name(s) of such firms.
