Pendency declined at the beginning of year, then rose (with some variations) until Thanksgiving, then declined again at the end of the year.  The low point: 922,030 on 01/24/24.  The high point: 960,860 on 11/27/24. Below is the raw data for the above plot.

On 01/08/25, pendency dropped further to  940,788, continuing the downward trend for the end of 2024. 🙂

Overall, pendency grew in 2024 by about 17,000 trademarks.  My pending search (live, ignoring 89's and registrations): LD:true NOT (SN:89* RN:*)
