[E-trademarks] ITU blocks - paper workaround

If you can reach someone in the ITU/Divisional Unit, they’ll usually find the file and process the EOT transaction within a day. I think they answer their phone faster than TAC the last time my office tried this (a few weeks ago).

Actually Carl, I looked into the filing path, and do not believe that a mailed or fax filing would work here, as there is no way to pay a fee to trademarks per the following screen capture:

I believe the route that I may have to take is to file a petition to the director to accept the SOU, along with a screen shot showing that I cannot file a TEAS form, and a request for a refund of the petition fee.

The natural next questions include how to pick a filing path.  The simplest and in some ways most predictable is to mail it in with a Certificate of Mailing.  The next thing to wonder is if there is a fax number for this stuff.  As far as I can see, the answer is "no".  Finally, during banker's hours, one could hand-carry it to the Madison building.
