[E-trademarks] Shutdown

The trademark office generally does not close during a government shutdown,
as they have a fair amount of money kept in reserve.
I was an examining attorney during the government shutdowns in 2018 and
2018-2019. The 2018-2019 shutdown, starting in December 2018, was the
longest shutdown ever, at 35 days. A couple weeks into that one, the USPTO
released a statement saying the trademark office could run through April.
So at least back then, they had enough funds to run for about 4 months
during a government shutdown.
I don't know how much they have in reserve now, but I suspect it's still
unlikely that they would close during any upcoming shutdown.
