Trying to file an amendment tonight. Get this “JSON.parse” error from Patent Center just trying to reach the home page. Do others see this? Using Firefox on a Mac.

On Chrome i get this message:
{"timestamp":1712461011014,"status":,"error":"Service request failed","message":"Service request failed","requestIdentifier":"0000018e88d1ba45-45e7ca4" }
On my iPhone it just times out.

Guess it’s down tonight? Not a confidence builder.

Maybe, with the system limping along, it managed to keep up with the alpha testers (of which I was one) and the beta testers. But the system was not correctly designed to scale to production use.
>>
>> Like you, I have encountered "search limit reached" many times. This happens while I am logged in as a paying customer of the USPTO (to the tune of around a million dollars per year). This happens during the business day, and the Patent Center system should have been designed to handle usage levels during the business day. The designers failed at this. But yes, this "search limit reached" for a paying (logged-in) customer also happens in the middle of the night, and on weekends. It gobsmacks me that the developers failed even to scale the system for usage levels in the middle of the night and on weekends.

>>
>> In this way, as in other ways, the Patent Center developers failed to do their jobs competently.
