[Patentcenter] Jumping to front page & cannot pay

I'm guessing that what I described in my post of 30 Jan 2024 (can't
download electronic acknowledgment receipt after paying issue fee)
is a subset of this "jumping to the front page" behavior; i.e.,
when spurious jump to patentcenter front page occurs after
submission/payment but before user has had a chance to save copy of
electronic acknowledgment/payment receipt, it will have effect I
describe in my post (user prevented from having record of what was just
filed/paid, which is a _big_ problem in terms of
reliability/accountability).

cannot pay
Thank you for posting. You have my sympathy. Yes, many times in
recent weeks I have been part way through some seemingly simple and
straightforward e-filing task in Patent center, and then with no
warning it jumps back to the home page of Patent Center.
One of the most recent miserable examples of this was one where I
figured I would be smarter than everybody else. At each step of the
way, I clicked "save submission". I would advance to the next screen,
and again I would do a "save submission". Of course eventually there
was the jump back to the home page. But as I say, I was smarter than
everybody else. I had saved the submission maybe half a dozen times
prior to the jump-back.
So I figured, now I will simply mouse over to the saved submissions and
open up the saved submission for this ill-fated e-filing project.
And ...
... and nothing. All of my saved submissions were gone. Not only the
saved submissions for this ill-fated e-filing project, but also the
saved submissions for other projects that had been in progress.
All gone.
