[Patentpractice] Law firm name on patent

I don't know about 'best'. To the best of my knowledge there's no
specific USPTO rules addressing that question (someone may know better
than I do). I always thought the primary role was one of 'branding' (for
you and the client) -- so the most important thing is a consistent use
of whatever name. I will say I have often seen relatively major law
firms (as well as many small ones) that use some sort of a trade name on
the front of the patent.
