[Patentpractice] mistakes in 'assignment search'

We filed a patent application in 2023 which matured into a granted US patent in Q4 2024.
During a due diligence, we searched for the assignment of the granted patent at THIS link -->
https://assignment.uspto.gov/patent/index.html#/patent/search

We typed in the patent number, and the results were the 'no assignment was filed'

That didn't make sense - we DID submit an assignment shortly after filing the application in 2023, and this assignment was processed by the USPTO.
After wasting more time, we did a search again, this time listing the APPLICATION NUMBER (rather than the patent number).When we searched by application number, we were able to see the frame and reel number.
