[Patentcenter] Another PC bug

This is a new one for me - today I logged into Patent Center, loaded my workbench (applications), and clicked on an application.  I received the error code below:

I logged out and back in, then was miraculously able to access the same application.  The correspondence address customer number had not changed, and I do still have access.  Can anyone tell me why a message like this would pop up instead of a "system busy" or "max search limit reached" message?  There's no reason I can think of to tell the practitioner they don't have access to something when it's just a system snafu on their end.  At this point it feels like they're trying to make us miserable.  Maybe they want all the practitioners to retire to make room for more pro se applicants?
