[E-trademarks] TEAS voluntary amendment form problem

I have noticed that when filing a voluntary amendment in a trademark
application, usually within three months of the application filing, the
TEAS form fails to include all of the information of the original
application. In particular, Section 44(d) claims appear to be missing.

Of course, when I reported this issue to Teas at uspto.gov, their response
pretty much ignored the issue:

Thank you for contacting the TEAS support mailbox regarding voluntary
amendment submission for newly filed applications. Our records indicate we
did receive the amendments September xx, 2023. Due to our office
experiencing a significant backlog in uploading new applications, your
applications are currently in queue for the Pre Examination Unit to
complete the upload and at that time they will also review your amendments.
Please wait 4-6 weeks from the filing date for your record to be completely
uploaded into our database.

I have taken the protective step of including a miscellaneous statement to
re-affirm the Section 44(d) claim and specifically state that the voluntary
amendment is not intended to change any of that information from the
original application.

Best regards,
Michael
